BARBRA CROPPER
Produces etchings and monoprints that bring together elements of architecture and design. 'Archways in Tuscany' is a new series of works, that relate to the histories and memories embedded in the walls and buildings of mediaeval cities. The work engages with issues of identity and the complex relationships that link past and present.
She frequently returns to an ongoing theme of 'Transience in Gardens'
with a special interest in small creatures, using etchings with text and collage.
BARBRA exhibits widely in the North West. Her studio is in the Lake District and thus her work is often focused on her environment and her travels.
