JANE SPIERS (nee Mogford)

I am from Bristol and did my Foundation year there at the West of England Academy. 
I took a Degree in Painting in Birmingham and studied for a Dip Ed at Manchester University.
Having taught at Hathershaw School in Oldham for 3years, I came to London and was Head
of Art at The Henrietta Barnett School for 25 years.
 
My work in painting and printmaking nearly always comes about as a response to patterns,
shapes, and the juxtaposition of forms both in nature and the man-made world.
 
My work has been shown in many solo and group exhibitions in Bristol, London and Italy.
