My print practice is an experimental excursion via the discipline of screenprint. I approach a new print without initial idea of an image but with my mind and sketch books full of influence. I create a stencil with gestural marks and then work from this by adding further stencils to the print and i play with colour until the print says something to me. I enjoy the spontaneity of expressionistic mark making combined with the discipline of print and the option of pushing the work further with colour experimentation.
