LYNN HATZIUS
The use of paper collage has not only developed into a recognizable style but as a medium
reflects an important process in the way I work and think: collecting, recycling, assembling
old and new, intentional and incidental, printed matter and found papers. This gathering,
combining and improvising is an aspect of my work that encourages a constant evolvement
and creative development. I aim to apply this flexible way of working to different print processes,
inking up separate elements, creating a composition and running them through the press or
printing shapes and layers through screen print.
